Mike Dust' Fascinatum

December 2, 2001

The Mississippi River
The Upper St. Anthony Lock will close Monday, December 3, but there's no last minute traffic headed up or down stream. One of the most fascinating vantage points around, thirty feet out over the mighty Mississippi River. To the south, one can view downtown Minneapolis, to the north, the historic Lowry Bridge, and to the west, the early evening sunset of late, late fall. Soon, there will be, but ice.
