Games with Dots
Here are some games with dots that require your imagination. Start with some of the simpler games and move on to the more challenging ones towards the bottom of the list. Once you've mastered the few games listed below, feel free to make up your own versions and share them with friends.

A few things to know before getting started:
If feel like you need to 'restart' any of the games, try the refresh button on your browser. Also, if the game gets a little too intense and you need a break, just move your cursor out of your browser window and you can take a moment to relax. Move the cursor back into the field of play to resume action. Good luck and let the games begin!

1. Avoid the Dots
This one is pretty easy. All of the dots are out to get you. You are the cursor. Move yourself, the cursor, away from the dots. Do this at all costs. If the dots do 'get you', then more dots will be sent your way. The action repeats endlessly. Good luck and stay away from the dots! (For added fun, imagine the dots are deadly microscopic bacteria, a pack of rabid dogs, or a squadron of F-14 fighter pilots)

2. Dot Roundup
This game is a little more advanced. You are the cursor. You are also a cowhand. The dots are doggies and it's time for a round up, so get along little doggies and get that cursor moving in a circular pattern. Corral those dots until they become one big dot. Repeat until too tired to lasso.

3. The Leader
You are the leader in this exciting game of Follow the Leader. Move to the left. All of the dots do the same. Move to the right, they follow. Move up and down. It's amazing. The dots want to be just like you. Advanced players may find joy in imagining they are on the dance floor of an exotic disco half-way around the world.

4. Passive Asteroids
This is a variation on the classic arcade game of Asteroids. Imagine your cursor is a spaceship flying through an asteroid belt. You don't believe in guns on your planet, or you don't have any, or you're out of ammunition (choose your favorite scenario). Try and avoid the Asteroids from blowing you up. This part you have to imagine too. This game is very similiar to the first game, Avoid the Dots.

5. Collect the Dots
Not to be confused with Connect the Dots, this game is based on the principle that your cursor is a scoop and you need to collect all of the dots. This can go on for hours and has the potential danger of being the most passive of all of the games listed.

Play the games in a blank white box!

Note: We do regret that this game of dots may be less than exciting with some varieties of computer. If this is you, we ask that you close your eyes and imagine the dots in your mind. You may try this even if you see the dots too.
