Drafted in Round No. 3 by Kentucky in 1973 and Round No. 5 by Kansas City. Signed with Kentucky. Signed this September by Spirits as a free agent.

NAIA All American, All North Carolina 2 years, All Conference 4 years…real name is Michael Leon but his mother started calling him M.L. as a youngster and it stuck "even my father would probably have to think twice before remembering my real name"…injured his leg 4 days before Kentucky rookie camp in 1973 and never got a chance…played in Eastern League that winter before getting chances with K.C. and then Boston…both wanted him but didn't have room, so he played in Israel in the European Pro Basketball League…his team won the title, he led his team in scoring and was 2nd in rebounding and named MVP in the league…use to work out in college with Carolina Cougars…sleeve length of 38 1/2" with vertical reach of 9'4 1/2"…can outreach 6-9 Bob McAdoo and 6-11 Jim McDaniels.
